A course of weekly trumpet lessons to develop breathing technique, sound, intonation, range and stamina. Each book consists of ten lessons using breathing exercises and musical phrases to help any player build a solid foundation of technique which, in turn, develops self-confidence and self-esteem.
Each lesson in Book 1 consists of three parts and provides the foundation on which Books 2 and 3 are based. The book introduces the concept of pedal notes to improve breathing and embouchure strength and rapid single tonguing as a means to improving range and stamina.
